[image description: A video still Adam Patterson's "Looking for "Looking for Langston". It features a conch shell being held, framed through a peephole.] Saturday 14 March – 14:00-17:00PM wukshop: Erotic Literature THE WUKSHOP HAS BEEN POSTPONED. WE'LL PLAN A NEW DATE ONCE THE ONGOING SITUATION WITH IRL CONTACT BECOMES A BIT CLEARER. Does writing get you in the mood? Are you into dirty talk / dirty poetry / dirty prose / dirty manifestos? We’ll tell you our safe words if you tell us yours. Spend your Saturday finding the right words for all those oh so right feelings and cheeky sensations. Whether your voice and words are rough or vanilla, let your imagination and mouth run wild in this erotic literature writing wukshop. Take it slow. There’s plenty of time for both writing and sharing. Feel free to bring something you’re working on or maybe a text you’ve already finished and just can’t wait to share. Did someone else’s writing make you shiver and quiver? Share it here. We’ll be sharing some of our fav pieces of literotica, providing stimulating writing prompts and individual and collective writing activities. Paper and pens will be provided, or bring a laptop if you prefer <3 About wukshop: wukshop is an ongoing series of multidisciplinary activities thinking about the complicated nature of our queer bodies and experiences, made even more complicated by a climate-queered present. A wukshop (a play on “workshop” and the Barbadian word “wuk,” a form of dancing that involves a gyration of the waist) is guided by play and not work. This wukshop is facilitated by Adam Patterson and Jo Willoughby.

[Image show a thunderstormie night sky with a city line at the bottom with a text with the title of the event on top. Logo from Queer Rotterdam in the right hand corner.] The Beyond the Binary support group for non binary transfolks! This meet-up series is meant as a support group for people who go beyond the gender binary: whether you’re trans, non-binary, genderqueer, gender-fluid, agender, questioning, or any other non-cis gender identity. We ask that you judge for yourself whether this event is for you, but please keep in mind that it is very important that in this space, queering is a verb and we will do it. The talk will be moderated by Non Sense, a professional, experienced conversation-leader who is also a part of the trans-community. If you are planning on attending, please send an email to queerrotterdam@gmail.com so we have an indication how many people to expect! If you have any ideas for talking points or other questions, please also let us know. You can also mail non at non@genderclowns.org. Costs: a donation to our moderator. 19.00 doors open 19.30 start 22.00 end

We are a collective of feminist queers who are building the beginnings of a community center for culture; or a venue for queer events; or a les university of life in Rotterdam. Tender Center is a relational infrastructure with parties, agitation, co-learning, bodies in varying states, gardening, (s)words, conversation, workshops, food, diy darkroom, curry, and a solid sound system. Tender Center is run as a not-for-profit association and we currently are running on funds from our own small pockets and your generous donations.
